The Role
The Account Manager is ultimately responsible for the growth and retention of a portfolio of clients. In this role, you’ll be managing our clients’ day to day needs as well as presenting regular upsell and growth opportunities to them. By heading up the relationship, you will be your clients’ main point of contact at MVF and will be required to present and sell all of the products that we have to offer.
You will be targeted on the revenue from your accounts on an annual basis and will have autonomy on how to get there, with the full support of our sales, marketing and operations teams.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day management of clients within your portfolio. Typically, these clients have worked with MVF for at least 12 months
- Uses knowledge and expertise to gain an understanding of the needs of each client and ensures there is clarity around priorities and goals to fulfil commercial expectations
- Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure both that the client’s requirements are fulfilled and strategic growth plans/milestones are being met
- Long term strategies to grow and develop client accounts, including expansion into new products and markets
- Responsible for growing each client's revenue base month on month
- Regular reporting and feedback on client performance and happiness
- Ensuring the relevant administrative components of account management at MVF are successfully completed for your portfolio
What Success Looks Like:
- Hitting quota by growing your clients’ revenue year on year
- Expanding clients into new territories and industries
- Retaining 100% of client revenue year on year
- Highly proficient with using Abbey, Looker, Jira and other necessary platforms
- Proactively spots, communicates & discusses commercial opportunities with relevant internal teams and presents them back to clients in a compelling way

- Proven ability as an outstanding sales-person or account manager (1-2 years of experience), has hit targets regularly and managed a portfolio of clients
