
MEMS Test Infrastructure Intern

This internship position is for 10-16 weeks, during Summer 2025 (May - September).
Responsibilities:
- Work on enhancing our proprietary MEMS test infrastructure, focusing on optimizing test time, repeatability, and linearity.
- Elevate the fundamental metrology of our manufactured parts to ensure strict adherence to manufacturing specifications.
- Analyze and improve the capabilities of existing metrology systems by interfacing with software and semiconductor hardware.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's/PhD degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.
- Proficiency in hardware programming to support testing and development.
- Familiarity with semiconductor optical metrology tools.
- Familiarity with python, experience with test hardware communication (e.g. using NI VISA or serial/RS232/RS485 protocols).
- Bonus: Prior exposure to MEMS device characterization.
- Bonus: Knowledge or experience in acoustic characterization techniques.
Salary:
Weekly $1,500 - $1,800*
