About the Role
In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing denial resolutions, filing appeals, and ensuring accurate and efficient insurance claim processing. As part of our team, you’ll receive comprehensive training and mentorship to help you succeed in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Compensation

• $15/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Process and submit patient billing and insurance claims with attention to detail.
• Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and medical records.
• Manage denial resolutions, including filing appeals and resubmitting claims.
• Follow up with insurance companies to ensure timely payment.
• Maintain compliance with medical billing standards, including ICD-10.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing or coding issues.
• Accurately document patient records using the MEDITECH Expanse system.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Recent graduates in healthcare administration, medical billing, or a related field.
• Skills: Familiarity with medical coding (e.g., ICD-10) and billing processes is a plus.
• Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using technology; prior experience with MEDITECH Expanse is a bonus.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills and attention to accuracy.
• Communication: Ability to work collaboratively with patients, insurance providers, and staff.
