The Marketing Officer is a key executive leader responsible for shaping and driving the marketing strategy to achieve the Prox's business goals. You will oversee and coordinate with the CEO marketing functions, ensuring brand alignment, market growth, and customer engagement across all channels. This role requires perseverance and consistency! Developing a brand is not easy, but there is a unique opportunity to bring something exciting to the market!
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company’s overall vision and objectives.
2. Brand Management:
- Co-lead with CEO the development and management of the brand’s identity, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
- Enhance brand visibility.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of brand guidelines.
3. Marketing Operations:
- Manage the marketing team, ensuring efficient execution of campaigns, projects, and day-to-day operations.
- Oversee content creation, advertising, digital marketing, public relations, and events.
- Ensure a strong focus on customer experience and engagement across all platforms.
4. Digital and Data-Driven Marketing:
- Drive digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and e-commerce strategies.
- Leverage analytics and data to measure campaign performance, optimize strategies, and make informed decisions.
- Ensure the use of marketing technology (MarTech) tools to automate and enhance marketing processes.
5. Customer Insights and Market Research:
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviors.
- Use insights to inform product development, pricing strategies, and messaging.
6. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary spokesperson for marketing initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with media, partners, and other relevant entities.
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Qualifications and Skills
1. Education and Experience:
- Currently undergoing or has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Skills:
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing across all levels of an organization.
3. Personal Attributes:
- Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for storytelling and brand-building.
- Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.

Work Environment and Expectations
- The location is flexible, but a requirement to be in Austin, Texas. Our warehouse is located in Round Rock, Texas.
- Travel will required to attend events, maintain client relationships (retailers, customers, etc.).
