Electrical Engineering Internship - Summer 2025
We are looking for an open-minded Electrical Engineering Intern to join this pursuit of engineering excellence within the built environment. Together we engineer the design journey.
This role includes the following responsibilities:
- Design of electrical systems under the guidance of a professional engineer including: medium voltage distribution, grounding, back-up power, general power distribution, lighting design and control as well as fire alarm and lightning protection systems.
- Perform system design calculations and analyze electrical distribution options under the guidance of a professional engineer with industry standard engineering software.
- Review and learn relative building codes and standards.
- Prepare design documents to detail the power, lighting and fire alarm systems drawing (Revit).
- Coordinate work with architect and engineers of other disciplines.
- Manage personal tasks for technical accuracy and timely delivery for day to day liaison with Senior Electrical Engineer.
The qualified candidate will have the following experiences:
- Working towards a degree in Electrical/Architectural Engineering with a sound knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Minimum of 2 years of academic experience within electrical engineering design.
