Mechanical Engineering Intern - Summer 2025
MECHANICAL ENGINEERING INTERN
We are looking for an open-minded Mechanical Engineering Intern to join this pursuit of engineering excellence within the built environment. Together we engineer the design journey.
This role includes the following responsibilities:
- Design of mechanical systems under the guidance of a professional engineer including: heating, cooling, heat rejection, air and hydronic distribution systems, ventilation, air conditioning, building automation and controls.
- Perform system design calculations and analyze mechanical system options under the guidance of a professional engineer with industry standard engineering and energy modeling software.
- Review and learn relative building codes and standards.
- Prepare design documents to detail the mechanical systems drawing (AutoCAD and Revit).
- Coordinate work with architect and engineers of other disciplines.
The qualified candidate will have the following experiences:
- Working towards a degree in Mechanical/Architectural Engineering with a sound knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Minimum of 2 years of academic experience within mechanical engineering design.
