POSITION SUMMARY
The Campground Management Internship Program offers the opportunity for undergraduate students to expand their classroom knowledge by developing skills, habits, and experience in a hands-on work environment, while enjoying the great outdoors.
The 12- week internship allows participants to focus on 4 core departments- campground operations, management, marketing and administration. Interns will train first-hand by working alongside our experienced managers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Spend 12 weeks shadowing and working within the 4 core departments
- Develop and present a final project at the conclusion of the internship
- Ensure customers receive a high level of service consistent with our customer service philosophy
- Ensure the safety of guest and resort property with attentive observation and action
- Learn and operate Campground Management system
- Answer phones & emails to help guests with their camping reservations
- Register guests upon arrival and facilitate their stay by answering questions and giving information
- Performs basic maintenance and cleaning
- Help to coordinate the maintenance of all equipment used for recreational activities
- Operate various types of standard office equipment, including a personal computer and related software
- Other duties as assigned by manager
REQUIREMENTS
- Student pursuing a degree in Outdoor Recreation, Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business, Communication, Entrepreneurship, Human Resources or related area of study
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Bilingual is a plus
- Ability to multi task and prioritize
- Able to work with others and work independently
- Must demonstrate excellent customer service and leadership abilities
- Professional Appearance and attitude towards guests and fellow team members

- Schedule- 40 hours, 5 days/week. Includes weekends, and holidays
