About Our Organization
We are a leading UK applied policy research and evaluation centre. For over thirty years we have undertaken critical, theoretical and empirical research into key regional, social and economic patterns within the UK and internationally, influencing policy design. We have deep experience of policy evaluation, helping to establish the impacts of programmes, interventions and strategies, whilst understanding ‘what works’ in terms of policy design. We work in close collaboration with academic and private sector research organisations to deliver research of the highest rigour and impact. Our funders and clients include research funding councils, charities, local authorities, government and the private sector.
On-site Supervision and Support
Our internships include 24/7 on-site staff to support students working and living abroad. All students will also report to a supervisor at their internship site. Supervisors provide and oversee daily tasks, introduce the intern to team members, and mentor the intern in organizational agility, skill acquisition, and career readiness. Interns complete a midpoint and final evaluation, and supervisors complete a final evaluation of their interns. All work responsibilities and projects are approved in advance.
