Temporary Administrative Assistant (Short-term Opportunity) Prestigious DC Association

As an Administrative Assistant with this prestigious DC Association, you will be providing operational support to staff as they prepare to welcome high-level VIPs to their DC based conference. This association is looking for someone who is well organized, flexible, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. About the Job:

  • Manage the attendee list. 
  • Collect and assemble pertinent meeting materials.
  • Create, print, and organize name badges and cards for guests.
  • Organize event related materials.
  • Provide on-site meeting support and complete any additional tasks as assigned.
  • Operate fluidly across a team using high-touch customer service and communication skills.

About the Culture: 

  • Work alongside staff to help facilitate an important event.
  • Get a glimpse of the behind the scenes of a fast-paced association.
  • Needs to be willing to complete weekly PCR testing. 

About You:

  • Executive know-how. You are accustomed to working with high-level stakeholders and possess a humble-driven spirit. Candidates with executive assistant experience are encouraged to apply!
  • Flexible. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. 
  • Poised.  You must be organized and a strong written and verbal communicator. 
  • Communicative. You enjoy working with others and are professional with clients. 
  • Detail-oriented. You are very thorough and can work independently with little supervision.
