SIP 2025 - Adjunct Services Concierge (East Campus) at Tri-C Adjunct Services

Processes adjunct faculty new hires including background checks, drug screening, payroll and HR forms, access to network and voicemail accounts

Note: In-person interviews will be conducted on Feb. 28, 2025, at West and Metro. These interview fairs are your only opportunity to meet and interview with hiring supervisors.

Internship description

1. Act as front desk concierge (Schedule to be determined based on intern's class schedule)

a) Answer Adjunct Services mainline ext. 2226

b) Respond to voicemails on Adjunct Services mainline ext. 2226

2. Perform daily opening procedures

a) Sanitize office work stations

b) Replenish office supplies at workstations

c) Replenish coffee supplies in kitchenette area

3. Update Adjunct Services Mailboxes:

a) Update mailboxes labels for the semester

b) Contacting adjunct faculty via email about mail and packages

c) Follow-up on mail from previous semester and take to academic areas

4. Provide support for adjuncts and their students by relaying messages, accepting papers/assignments, distributing supplies/mail/Copy Center jobs, and ordering/maintaining supply inventory

5. Maintain Adjunct Services Conference Room Scheduler

  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate good organization and planning abilities and effective project coordination, facilitation, and implementation based on past work or school experiences.
  • Must possess critical thinking skills and be willing to ask questions to understand issues and propose creative solutions to challenges.
  • Must have a basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Must be adaptable.

Program Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in current semester (Spring 2025)
  • Must enroll in a minimum of one Summer 2025 course
  • Must be returning to Tri-C for Fall 2025 Semester
  • Must have a declared major on record

This position is part of the Cuyahoga Community College Summer Internship Program.
