Information:
NVEEE’s Administrative and Operational Support Committee offers a dynamic opportunity for interns to gain hands-on experience in organizational operations while supporting impactful programs like PALS and PALP. This internship is perfect for students looking to enhance their administrative, problem-solving, and communication skills in a professional setting. As a vital part of NVEEE’s daily operations, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring our initiatives run efficiently and effectively. The Administrative Subcommittee is composed of four focused areas: General Administrative, Operational Support, Logistics Planning & Strategy, and Digital Transformation and IT Support.
Students seeking the option to receive course credit should inquire with their academic advisor. We will work with the student and college advisor on achieving desired learning outcomes and completing all necessary paperwork. Additionally, please note that this is an unpaid opportunity.
General responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Onboarding Support: Upload, organize, and share onboarding materials with staff and volunteers to ensure smooth integration.
- Database Management: Perform data entry, update and maintain records, and manage key information across NVEEE’s systems.
- Task Coordination: Assign and track tasks in Asana to streamline workflows and improve project management across committees.
- Meeting Documentation: Take meeting notes, distribute action items, and assist in following up on project deadlines.
- Communication Support: Moderate Slack channels, address inquiries, and create an FAQ resource for common questions.
- Resource Organization: Audit NVEEE’s Google Shared Drive, ensuring documents and resources are easy to access and well-categorized.
- Event Assistance: Coordinate timelines, confirm participant details, and track logistics for events and workshops.
- Service Hour Verification: Prepare and distribute verification letters for volunteers, accurately tracking their contributions.
- Administrative Support: Provide general operational assistance to keep NVEEE’s programs running smoothly.
