Food Safety Technologist

Fresh Mark, based in Northeast Ohio, is looking for a Food Safety Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will execute an accurate and precise approach to tasks that support our food safety policies.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Perform the equipment and environmental swabbing needed per the Fresh Mark Microbiological Monitoring Program
  • Perform audits and swabbing of sanitation teardowns for all three facilities.
  • Participate in weekly sanitation meetings
  • HACCP coordinator

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Biology or in related subjects preferred
  • Microbiological Background – Through experience or class studies
  • Work flexible hours – requires starting as early as 3:00 AM on occasion. Sat/Sun - if needed
  • High comfort level with working independently
