SIP 2025 - Success Center Summer Intern (East Campus) at Tri-C Success Center (Student Affairs)

The Success Center team is committed to providing academic and personal support to students as they identify and achieve their educational goals from the admission process through registration. We seek to provide a supportive, encouraging, and understanding environment where each of our students may seek academic achievement and assistance navigating potential obstacles.

Note: In-person interviews will be conducted on Feb. 28, 2025, at West and Metro. These interview fairs are your only opportunity to meet and interview with hiring supervisors.

Internship description

In addition to developing connections with new and returning students, we are looking for someone to help encourage academic success here at Tri-C. The Success Center Intern will participate in general administrative support to the Success Center (at the Welcome Desk as a first contact on campus to provide campus navigation assistance, answering calls, be of service to the Enrollment Center at the kiosk area, attend meetings for note-taking, and general office tasks), assist with New Student Orientation (including campus tours and providing registration support), help students learn about available resources and academic services to enhance their educational experience..

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to navigate My Tri-C Space portal
  • Clear understanding of the admission process (application, FAFSA completion, placement tests, NSO)
  • Must have an Academic Plan on file
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office application
  • Customer service experience
  • Prior office administrative experience

Program Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in current semester (Spring 2025)
  • Must enroll in a minimum of one Summer 2025 course
  • Must be returning to Tri-C for Fall 2025 Semester
  • Must have a declared major on record

This position is part of the Cuyahoga Community College Summer Internship Program. 

NoteInternational students are eligible for employment with on-campus/ internal Tri-C departments only.
