SIP 2025 - Reporting Intern (REMOTE) at eScribers

Internship description: We are offering an internship in our Reporting Department. This role performs a wide range of responsibilities - from data entry, reviewing of transcripts, processing reporter’s incoming work, and working directly with management and other teams to facilitate the efficient operations of the court reporting department and working with team members on various administrative tasks.

It is a great opportunity to get exposure to the court reporting and transcription industry from an operations perspective. Work with our team to understand behind-the-scenes of how it all works. This is an internship that is 15 weeks long with a total of 100 hours where you will enjoy a dynamic work environment. The role will be fully remote, Monday – Friday and flexible on hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing incoming audio from reporters as work comes in.
  • Reviews transcripts and converts them in proper format to be delivered to clients.
  • Assisting the team with assigning transcribers and proofreaders to specific jobs.
  • Provide administrative support as needed to the Reporting Department as directed by the supervisor.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Computer skills – should have knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook), comfortable learning new programs.
  • Ability to type 40 wpm.

Program Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in current semester (Spring 2025)
  • Must enroll in a minimum of one Summer 2025 course
  • Must be returning to Tri-C for Fall 2025 Semester
  • Must have a declared major on record

This position is part of the Cuyahoga Community College Summer Internship Program.
