Special Education Teacher Teacher (Special Day Class - Mild/Moderate)

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SDC Mild/Moderate Teacher capable of supporting students with mild to moderate learning needs. 

Details:

• Grade Level: Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
• Caseload: Approximately 15 students
• Start Date: ASAP (Exact end date TBD)
• Location: San Ysidro, California

The ideal candidate will bring a passion for education, patience, and the ability to create a supportive learning environment tailored to each student’s unique needs. Experience in special education is preferred, and candidates should be prepared to collaborate with a team to implement individualized learning plans and provide essential support for students.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education (Masters Preferred)
• Licensed to teach severely delayed or disabled children
• California Mild/Moderate Teaching Certification
• Availability to work 6.5 hrs per day (32.5 hours per week)
• Capable of handling caseloads of 15-20 students
