Casino Specialist

Are you ready to embark on a career adventure that's as exciting as a tropical getaway? Margaritaville at Sea is looking for a dynamic Casino Specialist to coordinate all aspects of casino reservations.

What you get to do:

You will be responsible for providing reservation services for all casino-related individuals and work closely with casino management to meet casino guest requirements. You will call and email guests to get them on board Margaritaville at Sea.

You will:

  • Create and Deliver, Fun and Escapism.
  • Answer incoming calls from VIP clients and junket representatives. Follow up with various shore-side and shipboard departments to ensure all guest requests are met and issues are resolved.
  • Contact customers directly to book cruises in support of all marketing efforts, direct mail campaigns, e-mail blasts, and special promotions.
  • Review player information (personal information and gaming activity). Determine whether the guest is eligible for a free or discounted cabin accounts to departmental guidelines.
  • Must have a systematic and process-oriented mindset to ensure seamless and end-to-end customer experiences.
  • Responsible for identifying both new and inactive casino players within the casino database.
  • Assist VIP guests in the issuance of credit and complimentary reservations as appropriate.
  • Explain benefits and supplements that are available to the guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What it takes to succeed:

  • Proven track record in providing white glove customer service in a prompt and timely manner
  • Ability to communicate information clearly and professionally to clients & colleagues
  • Well-informed with a broad knowledge of the gaming industry and products
  • High School Degree (or GED) required
  • Four (4) yearsโ€™ experience in Customer Services and/or Reservations.
  • Casino and Telemarketing experience is preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of all shipboard amenities, itinerary details, schedules, and ports of call
  • Requires an exceptional individual and critical thinker with excellent analytical skills.
  • Must be an energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, top-of-the-class individual who can work successfully as an individual and as part of a team.
  • Advanced computer skills including Intermediate to Expert Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Google
  • Be able to communicate with Casino Managers and Supervisors on a need to need basis. ย
