Intersession Marine Wildlife Stranding Internship. This internship involves walking beaches on Cape Cod to rescue or research stranded marine wildlife that has washed ashore. Interns will learn how to identify various species of marine wildlife as well as how to respond to both live and dead strandings. NECWA focuses our rescue and research efforts on ocean sunfish, torpedo rays, and triggerfish, but we also support the rescue efforts of other nonprofits that rescue sea turtles and marine mammals. 

Start and end times are flexible. 

Housing provided in Eastham, MA.
