Hartford Public Schools is hiring PARAEDUCATORS for PreK-12 Schools
$1,000 sign on bonus if hired before January 1st

HPS is hiring for the follow Paraeducator roles: 

• Adult Support (Special Education & 1:1)
• Classroom
• Montessori 
• Pre-Kindergarten
• Kindergarten
• In-School Suspension

Benefits of being a Paraeducator at HPS:

• 11- month position with opportunity to work during summer school 
• 26 pay periods per year (bi-weekly pay)
• Tuition reimbursement of $675 per credit, up to $4050 per year 
• Medical, dental, and life insurance effective first day working  
• Ability to earn $80 stipend for substitute teacher coverage

Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree required, or High School Diploma and ParaPro Exam (12 months to pass exam)
• Up to $43,630 Salary based on education level and experience
• AMI Montessori Training required for Montessori Paras
