Client Services Intern (Spring 2025)

What We Seek:

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic interns to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to each practice area [strategic communications, government affairs, issue campaigns and culture, strategy & organizational design] within our firm, assisting with various projects, research tasks and administrative duties. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced professionals. Please note that we require that all working hours (20-25 hours) be done in one of our offices nationwide.
 

Responsibilities:

Assist with research projects, data analysis and report preparation for each practice area.

Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, note taking, and organizing documents.

Contribute to the development of client deliverables, such as presentations, memos and briefs.

Conduct background research on policy issues, legislative developments and industry trends.

Collaborate with team members to coordinate project logistics, ensuring the timely completion of tasks.

Support internal company initiatives, events and special projects as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, or a recent graduate, preferably in Political Science, Public Policy, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong interests in public policy, advocacy and social justice issues
  • Excellent research, written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines efficiently
  • Proficiency in Google Suite
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion
  • Strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn 
     

Schedule:

This is a temporary position with a flexible schedule, offering a minimum of 20 hours a week. The internship duration will be approximately 14 weeks with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. All hired interns must be physically present in the DC office at least twice per week.
