Leong Financial is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Client Services Advisor. This individual will be responsible for financial planning operations and working with the team’s existing book of clients to generate new business. Mark Leong operates a comprehensive financial planning practice in partnership with Northwestern Mutual. Northwestern Mutual is an industry-leading financial services company that helps individuals and families achieve a lifetime of financial security. Leong Financial is a dynamic and rapidly growing financial planning firm in the heart of Honolulu, HI, that helps individuals, families and businesses achieve their highest level of success. As an established financial planning team with over 700 clients, our company is growing and looking for “A” players who want to grow with us.
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
· Serve as one of two primary client-facing points of contact on behalf of Financial Advisor team.
· Focus on complete client care and delivering on promises made to client.
· Responsible for client satisfaction and retention of client accounts.
· Responsible for increasing assets under management from assigned client base.
· Responsible for finding new revenue opportunities to service existing clients more effectively.
· Responsible for building Loyal Client Advocates and producing new clients through those relationships.
· Promote, utilize, and reinforce Northwestern Mutual planning culture, process, and tools.
· Manage and supervise formulation and implementation of risk and investment strategies consistent with comprehensive financial plan prepared for each client individually.
· Collaborate with others to complete risk and investment product account owner service requests.
· Publicly represent the organization and team’s strategic brand.
· Assist with team marketing strategy and general marketing support.
· Prepare and manage client communications and client expectations.
· Maintain familiarity with industry and economic trends and apply knowledge to client service and client relationships.
· Maintain knowledge of and show ability to uphold and apply compliance standards.
· Work collegially and productively with clients, peers, and other team members.
Qualifications and Skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
· Bachelor’s degree (required)
· 2 years or more in the financial services industry
· Excellent organizational management skills
· Evidence of the ability to practice a high level of confidentiality
· Proactive with tasks and able to manage time efficiently
· Ability to provide excellent service to clients in both face-to-face meetings and on the phone
License and Certifications Required:
· Series 63 or 66 Certification (must obtain within the first six months of employment)
· Series 7 Certification (must obtain within the first 12 months of employment)
· CFP Designation (must obtain within the first three years of employment)
· Life and Health Insurance License (must obtain within the first month of employment)
Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 annual salary + bonuses and profit share
