Physical Scientist (Dark Sky Coordinator)
This position will help advance night-sky friendly outdoor lighting initiatives in national parks. The incumbent will:
- serve as a coordinator for lighting projects in parks, communicating with lighting industry experts, NGOs, and park staff
- review lighting design plans and specifications
- collect photometric measurements, conduct lighting inventories and interpret that information so park staff can understand what they could expect on the ground
