Accounting Tutor
Requirements
- Completed one semester of college level coursework
- Enrolled for credit at UW-Parkside
- Suggested cumulative GPA of at least a 2.8; priority consideration given to those with a 3.0 GPA.
- Received an A or B in subject area you wish to tutor

Responsibilities
- Tutor students in specific course material and/or skill areas, integrate study and learning strategies to promote independent learning.
- Make appropriate referrals to other campus resources
- Follow all procedures and policies set by the Parkside Academic Resource Center
- Report immediately to the PARC Manager when critical issue(s) arises
- Attend and participate in Tutor meetings as scheduled
- Work 5 – 20 hours per week

- Ask a professor to submit the online Referral Form. This must be completed by a professor who teaches in the subject area to which you are applying. (Example: if you are applying to be a History tutor, ask a History professor to complete this form on your behalf.)
