Part-Time Basketball Skills Coach

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)

  • Assist athletes in skill development while they are on the court doing their workouts by connecting, correcting, competing, and challenging them, during each shift.
  • Provide thorough product knowledge in our equipment and technology to expedite the athlete’s improvement and maximize the best possible experience in our facility.
  • Answer general phone calls – inquiries about the types of services offered, scheduling, requests, and overall basic customer service.
  • Perform point of sale transactions for memberships, apparel, training lessons, and all other service offerings.
  • Conduct ORVs to prospective members so they may experience Shoot 360’s offerings.
  • Assist in overall facility cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Display good communication skills.
  • Respectfully takes direction from Supervisor.
  • Cultivate a friendly and enthusiastic environment.
  • Travel to local basketball events and tournaments required.
  • Other duties as required.

Education and/or Experience

Thorough knowledge of basketball and experience with coaching/instructing

Language Skills

Must be able to effectively communicate with staff, members and guests.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

High School Diploma or GED

  • Standing/walking for long periods of time (up to 1-8 hours)
  • Demonstrating Basketball Movements
  • Jogging, running, jumping, and bending
  • Moving Automatic Rebounding Machine (A.R.M.)
  • Lowering and lifting the lever
  • Pushing the A.R.M. out and in place
  • May need to climb/stand on a ladder to help with any necessary equipment repairs

Compensation

Base hourly rate of $15.00 per hour + commission paid on personal training sessions and membership package sells.
