Fiscal Administration Specialist 2

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will support the District Fiscal Officer in overseeing and coordinating budget finance, planning, and procurement functions for the district office and six county maintenance organizations. Furthermore, you will have a solid understanding of policies, practices, and systems necessary to ensure the effective implementation of departmental guidelines related to budget, finance, and procurement activities and transactions. A key aspect of your responsibilities will involve facilitating the resolution of issues identified within the district or by the central office.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
 

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Allentown.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

 

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 1; or
  • One year of experience in professional fiscal administration, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
