Cybersecurity Protocol Development Intern (Unpaid with Potential for Full-Time)
Responsibilities:
- Security Protocol Development: Design and implement security protocols to safeguard our operations, with regular updates to address emerging threats.
- Account Segmentation: Establish role-based access controls and implement secure access policies for critical teams (finance, data analytics, web development).
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Assist in setting up, managing, and monitoring 2FA systems, ensuring security compliance and user engagement.
- Zero-Trust Security Policies: Help implement zero-trust frameworks to ensure thorough verification for all users and devices.
- Data Security Compliance: Support efforts to comply with data security regulations like GDPR and CCPA through regular audits and reporting.
- Cybersecurity Education for Leadership: Assist in creating training materials and sessions for leadership on cybersecurity best practices.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM): Develop IAM strategies, conduct audits, and ensure resource access aligns with user roles.
- Security Application Research and Deployment: Stay updated on emerging security applications and assist in deploying solutions to bolster our defenses.
- Vulnerability Assessments and Testing: Conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing efforts to strengthen our systems.
