Digital Book/Light Cartoon Video Maker Intern

Bad Kids Korporation Internship Program Position Title: Digital Book/Light Cartoon Video Maker Intern Supervisor: Tani Saeun, Creative Director Duration: 6 Months from Date of Signing Hours: 20-25 hours per week (Primarily Task-Based) Location: Remote, with Some Opportunities for In-Person Collaboration Compensation: This is an unpaid internship; however, interns may receive residuals through an MFN (Most Favored Nations) agreement for select projects, offering potential income from ongoing work contributions. Role Overview: We are looking for a creative and tech-savvy intern to join our team as a Digital Book/Light Cartoon Video Maker. You will be responsible for creating simple, engaging cartoon-style videos and digital book animations reminiscent of clipart digital stories or the classic 1970s Marvel Comics cartoon style. Your work will bring our narratives and stories to life in a visually captivating way. Key Responsibilities: ● Animation Creation: Develop simple cartoon-style videos and digital storybooks that visually complement our narratives, using tools like Adobe Animate, After Effects, or similar software. ● Clipart Story Design: Assemble and animate clipart-style graphics to create engaging digital stories, ensuring a consistent visual aesthetic inspired by the 1970s Marvel Comics. ● Digital Book Development: Create animated digital books, incorporating light animations and transitions to elevate the reading experience. ● Collaboration: Work closely with the writers and illustrators to ensure the animations and digital content align with the story vision and overall project goals. ● Team Communication: Actively participate in Zoom meetings for project updates and collaborate with the team via WhatsApp and our project management systems. ● Quality Assurance: Review and refine your work to ensure high-quality output and alignment with the project's style guidelines. Requirements: ● Animation Skills: Basic to intermediate skills in animation software such as Adobe Animate, After Effects, or equivalent tools. ● Storytelling Ability: Strong sense of visual storytelling, with an ability to create animations that enhance narrative engagement. ● Graphic Design: Familiarity with digital design principles and experience with clipart-style graphics is a plus. ● Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure visual and motion elements are polished and cohesive. ● Creativity: A flair for bringing characters and stories to life through animation in a simple yet captivating style. ● Team Player: Willingness to work in a collaborative environment and provide constructive feedback. ● Self-Discipline: Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
