Business Controls Summer 2025 Internship

We are looking for analytical, bright, energetic, outgoing and motivated individuals interested in supporting the various facets of operational risk management (identifying risks, designing controls to mitigate risks, and evaluating the effectiveness of those controls through data analysis).  This internship will help develop skills in problem-solving, strategic thinking, data analysis, technical acumen, and strong communication.

The ideal candidate will have opportunities ranging from growing their risk management aptitude (a highly transferrable skill) to performing data analysis on the Allianz Life Enterprise Operations control environment to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for uplift. Your work will support the overall health of Allianz Life’s control environment, which reduces risks to customers, employees, and the company as a whole.

What you bring:

• Be working toward a degree in compliance, finance, data sciences, management, or any subject that requires strong analytical and communication skills.
• Have strong critical-thinking, proven organizational and relationship building, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborate with manager, team, and business partners to gain a deeper understanding of risk management, Enterprise Operations processes, and project management.
• Participate in cross functional group project initiatives.
