Our Advanced Microscopy group is actively hiring numerous Material Analysts!!
The Advanced Microscopy team has opportunities for Materials Analysts to join our dynamic Dual Beam group. Primary function includes sample preparation for imaging of client samples using Dual Beam FIB tools. The successful candidate will work as a part of a team and will have the opportunity to rapidly gain a working knowledge of many analytical techniques. These opportunities are located in our Milpitas CA location and our new Phoenix Arizona Location.
Work Schedules:
*5pm-2am, Tuesdays to Saturdays
*5pm-4am, Fridays to Mondays

Qualifications
- BS or MS in Materials Science and Engineering or related field or equivalent industry experience (No PhDs please)
- Experience in dual beam FIB and SEM operation
- Solid understanding of electron microscopy, semiconductor physics, nanofabrication, solid state physics and failure analysis through industry experience or internship projects/course work.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
What would set you apart:
- Experience with TEM sample preparation
- In-depth knowledge and interpretative skills in one or more areas of electron microscopy
- High reliability, integrity, and conscientious attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office or laboratory to access file cabinets, machinery, equipment etc.
- Ability to continuously operate a personal computer or lab equipment for extended periods of time (4 or more hours).
- Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other lab equipment, use a telephone, access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels, including overhead
- Ability to speak and hear well enough to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting.
- Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, make timely decisions in the context of a workflow, ability to communicate with visitors, ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.
