DPS Grants Director

This position is responsible for setting strategic direction and management of the agency’s federal, state, nonfederal, sub awards, and capital grant funds to ensure the agency is managing these funds efficiently and effectively, and complying with all state and federal laws, rules, regulations, and policies. Relationship building and negotiation skills are important to find consensus and propose changes to agency grant processes and procedures. The incumbent will develop a system of governance for the agency’s grant management system and an agency training program for all staff utilizing grant funds. This position will represent the agency on statewide grants management groups and oversee coordination and communication for agency grants staff committees, workgroups, councils, etc.
