Luther Quintana Upholstery, Inc., New York, NY looking for an office assistant for a small office setting.
Office location: 599, 11th Avenue, NY 10036
Must have some experience in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook). Ideal candidates are detail oriented, have organizational and computer skills. .
Daily Activities will include: Answering phone calls, receiving messages, scan documents. This is not a remote position; you must be able to get to the location with reliable transportation. Diverse work environment, with a casual work atmosphere.
Work hours are ideally 8am to 4:30 pm with 30 min break for lunch, but we can negotiate if there is a preference. Retirees and back-to-work situations are encouraged to apply if you have the necessary computer skills. Must speak Spanish.
Your duties as office assistant include but not limited to the following:
- Answering phone calls and emails
- Organizing paperwork
- Filing
- ordering materials/supplies
- scanning documents
- marking/logging in fabrics
- keeping common areas clean/tidy and your personal office space
- making time cards/payroll envelopes
- typing up quotes into Quickbooks
- Organizing company calendar/setting up appointments/meetings
- producing work orders
- paying bills (once or twice a month max.)/upon request
- making copies
- uploading/downloading documents
- Fabric logs/tracking
- Providing pick-up lists/delivery receipts
- Taking pictures of completed furniture/pillows
- Organizing/labeling completed items
- Communicate information or provide materials to employees upon request
