Interior Design Associate

Position Overview:
As an Interior Design Associate, you will work closely with our lead designers to support various phases of the design process, from concept to installation. You will play a key role in managing projects, problem-solving design challenges, and ensuring the client’s vision is realized seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of projects from initial concept through completion. Construction and decorating projects.
  • Collaborate with designers to create layouts, renderings, and material boards.
  • Utilize Studio Designer ,SketchUp and AutoCAD to produce accurate design plans, layouts, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other team members to ensure timely project completion.
  • Conduct site visits, take measurements, and oversee installations as needed.
  • Handle project documentation, including client presentations, budgets, and timelines.
  • Actively participate in problem-solving to address project challenges, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Coordinate and be active in on site installations of projects.
  • Some jobs require out of state travel.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2- 3 years of experience in an interior design or related role.
  • Proficiency in Studio Designer, SketchUp and AutoCAD is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude with a team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines.
  • Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
  • Applicant must have their own car as shopping, attending meetings and installations is large part of the job.
