Interior Design Associate

Position Overview:
As an Interior Design Associate, you will work closely with our lead designers to support various phases of the design process, from concept to installation. You will play a key role in managing projects, problem-solving design challenges, and ensuring the client’s vision is realized seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of projects from initial concept through completion. Construction and decorating projects.
- Collaborate with designers to create layouts, renderings, and material boards.
- Utilize Studio Designer ,SketchUp and AutoCAD to produce accurate design plans, layouts, and specifications.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct site visits, take measurements, and oversee installations as needed.
- Handle project documentation, including client presentations, budgets, and timelines.
- Actively participate in problem-solving to address project challenges, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Coordinate and be active in on site installations of projects.
- Some jobs require out of state travel.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2- 3 years of experience in an interior design or related role.
- Proficiency in Studio Designer, SketchUp and AutoCAD is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Positive attitude with a team-oriented approach.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines.
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Applicant must have their own car as shopping, attending meetings and installations is large part of the job.
