This internship offers hands-on training and experience in social media strategy, design, and digital marketing.
Position Summary
This internship is designed for students or recent graduates who want hands-on experience in social media management and digital design. In this role, you will receive educational training in designing content for various social platforms, enhancing your skills in creating cohesive, brand-aligned visuals.
Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Design: Assist in designing and developing visual content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads), with a focus on brand aesthetics, cultural trends and audience engagement.
- Design Collaboration: Work closely with the team during design phases, gaining experience in digital content strategy and design concepts.
- Social Media Monitoring & Strategy: Support analytics tracking, monitoring trends, and assisting with strategic adjustments for various social platforms.
- Content Planning: Assist in developing and scheduling a consistent posting plan, using design to align with our brand’s visual and messaging guidelines.
Learning Objectives and Benefits
This design-focused role provides educational and professional development, including:
- Training in Social Media Design, Marketing, and Business Strategy: Learn design principles for digital marketing and social platforms, as well as strategies in brand development and audience engagement.
- Portfolio Development: Guidance in building a personal website portfolio using HTML and CSS. You will have custom-coded portfolio website by the end of this internship.
- Mentorship and Professional References: Receive a recommendation letter and ongoing mentorship, with insights into design-focused marketing strategies and creative direction.
Note: This internship is unpaid, and there is no expectation of a paid role following the internship. The experience is primarily for educational and training purposes and is designed to supplement classroom learning.
Qualifications
- Interest in design, production, marketing for digital platforms, content creation, and visual strategy
- Basic knowledge of design tools, such as Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Spline, Blender, or similar alternatives.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads) and basic analytics
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and techniques
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
