Archeological Technician
These positions serve as a seasonal Archeological Technician for the Green River or West Desert District.
- Assist with on-the ground field studies.
- Prepare description of artifacts found.
- Identify and package artifacts to be removed from the site.
- Prepare information such as reports, maps, and photographs.
- Participate in cultural resource inventories to identify cultural, historic and/or paleontological resources.
- Plan and carry out non-complex cultural resource field inventories.
- Determine inventory methods to use, identify area to be inventoried and schedule inventory.
- Compile, summarize, and interpret data obtained during inventories.
