Intern, Software Test Automation Engineer (Summer 2025)

Essential Functions:
- Assist in developing test scripts for automating middleware, mobile and web test cases
- Update test scripts based on new features and UI changes
- Create / maintain automation test suites for smoke, sanity and regression testing
- Assist in setting up CI pipelines for smoke, sanity and regression testing in development, pre-production and product environments
- Assist in developing test and automation solutions for software and product features
- Support automated regression test runs for bi-weekly mobile app and web site releases
- Research of test automation trends and use of AI for test automation solutions
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields of study from an accredited university
- Experience in software testing and programming in Javascript, Java, Python, or another scripting language
- Effective communication skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Must be able to work from our Oakbrook, IL office (15 miles west of Chicago) 3 days a week
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of software testing tools, processes, and technologies
- Functional knowledge of Version Control Systems (GIT)
- Knowledge of networking technologies, application layer protocols
- Ability to work cross-functionally and to rapidly learn new technologies
