The City Manager's Office Intern is responsible for assisting professional staff with special projects and providing administrative support to the daily operations of the City Manager's Office.
Essential functions of this position include:
Special Projects: Assists professional staff with special projects and administrative duties by completing a variety of functions related to an assigned area of responsibility; monitoring, reporting, researching, and evaluating projects and programs; and assisting with updating and maintaining programs as assigned.
Research and Analysis: Collects, compiles, analyzes, and researches information from various sources on a variety of topics related to assigned programs; prepares reports to present and interpret data and identify alternatives; and provides support as needed for the completion of special projects in support of the assigned department.
