International Programs Office Assistant
The International Programs Office has an opening for a Student Office Assistant to begin work in the late fall semester or early winter semester. This individual will primarily be responsible for reception duties, assisting office staff, and assisting international and study abroad students. May include some management of social media and event planning.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Student Office Assistant acts as a supplemental office worker, helping to run the daily activities of the office by:
- Answering phones
- Data entry and Email correspondence
- Making photocopies
- Preparing information packets
- Assisting international students
- Assisting study abroad students
The Student Office Assistant will work up to 20 hours/week. The schedule is flexible based on class and work schedules. Hours may vary depending on staff needs.
The position could potentially extend to a full-time, summer position.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Good verbal and communication skills
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to perform basic office duties
Preferred Qualifications
- International Studies major/minor
- Experience with international students
- Experience participating in study abroad
