Are You Ready to Make a Difference?
Join us at SoCal Club as our next Outreach Coordinator! We’re on a mission to connect with Black and Latino gay and bisexual men ages 12-29, providing vital education and health services. Under the guidance of the SoCal Club Director, you’ll lead outreach efforts, increase awareness of our programs, and help empower young men in our community to take charge of their health.

  • Be the Voice of Change: Serve as the public face of SoCal Club, promoting a confident, sex-positive approach to healthcare.
  • Engage the Community: Conduct outreach through social media, public events, and partnerships to recruit clients and share valuable resources.
  • Implement Impactful Strategies: Develop and execute an outreach plan to enhance awareness of SoCal Club services among Black and Latino gay/bisexual men aged 16-29.
  • Collaborate and Connect: Work with program managers and community organizations to create recruitment strategies and track engagement outcomes.
  • Educate and Empower: Provide information on prevention services, HIV testing, and holistic health care, ensuring individuals have access to the support they need.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Dynamic Personality: You’re outgoing, approachable, and thrive on engaging with diverse community members, both online and in person.
  • Experience Required: A minimum of 2 years in direct client services or outreach in a nonprofit setting, ideally with similar demographic groups.
  • Strong Communication Skills: You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with organizational prowess.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms is a must. Bilingual in Spanish? Even better!
  • A Commitment to Inclusivity: You believe in and demonstrate the importance of serving individuals from all walks of life, promoting a multicultural environment.
