Code Sensei
Who are we?
Code Ninjas is the nation’s fastest growing kids coding franchise. In our center, kids ages 5 -14 learn technology skills in a fun, non-intimidating way – by building video games and robots. Kids have a blast and can’t wait to come back. Parents are thrilled as their children gain confidence and new skills including coding, math, logic, and problem-solving, as they progress from white to black belt. Our core promise is this: Kids Have Fun, Parents See Results. We believe in these words so much that it’s written on the walls in our center.
What are we looking for?
We have a team of smart and fun Code Senseis (Coding Tutors) who share a common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children. Our Senseis oversee day-to-day coaching and student engagement and are the lifeblood of our center.
This is a valuable opportunity to sharpen your coding skills while helping children develop theirs. Our Senseis find that Code Ninjas is a valuable stepping stone in their own technology career as they build a resume to attract future internships and employers.
Do you have experience working with children? Do you enjoy teaching and building problem-solving skills in young engineering minds? Have you mentored youth? This could be the role for you.
Responsibilities include:
- Engaging with students to facilitate learning experience
- Training on our curriculum and technology tools
- Helping to create and enhance curriculum and processes
- Tracking students’ progress
- Communicating Ninjas' progress at the end of every session
Qualifications:
- Experience and enjoyment in teaching, mentoring, or childcare
- Works well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Maintains a fun, positive attitude
- Knowledgeable about coding and technology, or able to quickly pick up basic concepts
- Must have experience with Unity, C#, C++, C, or Java

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
