Hybrid Accounting Clerk

A premier NYS law firm is looking to add a Hybrid Accounting Clerk to their Rochester office. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for managing A/R and A/P functions.
Duties include:
- Receiving, reviewing and verifying invoices for accuracy
- Preparing and executing payments such as wires, checks, ACH, etc.
- Maintaining and updating vendor/payee information
- Obtaining W-9s
- Scanning check payments in the remote deposit capture
- Recording client disbursements
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or Associate degree
- Minimum 1 year of experience is preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel
- Experience with QuickBooks and Aderant a plus but not required. Our client will train!
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional communication skills
