Position Overview:

Healthy Babies Project, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and organized Part-Time Peer-Facilitator to support our team in workshop facilitation, participant engagement, and behavior management. The Peer Facilitator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization by providing clerical support, managing office supplies, and assisting with workshop composition. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to contribute to the mission of empowering youth while gaining valuable administrative experience in a nonprofit setting.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistical arrangements for events, workshops, and meetings, including booking venues and arranging catering.
  • Prepare documents, presentations, and reports as requested by staff members.
  • Assist in the development and preparation of workshop materials and activities based on the program curriculum.
  • Support staff members with administrative tasks related to program operations, fundraising, and donor relations.
  • Help coordinate with guest speakers, community partners, and other stakeholders to enhance program delivery.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient office operations and a positive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall functioning of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is preferred.
  • Proven experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a nonprofit or similar setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and basic computer skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with youth, preferably in an educational or community setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
