What’s it like to work at Sun Life?
You’ll find it dynamic and highly professional; collaborative and supportive. We encourage career mobility. Sun Life is also a socially responsible employer, supporting the communities in which we live and work, with a globally recognized commitment to the environment and sustainability.
Actuarial Interns can expect to build technical skills, learn insurance concepts and gain an understanding of product features and contracts. You’ll gain an understanding of the insurance business in general, while learning to leverage technology based tools to perform analysis and solve problems. In addition to building your skills and knowledge, interns provide meaningful contributions to their respective teams by completing real entry-level actuarial projects. Towards the end of your internship, you will also have the opportunity to give a presentation on summer experience to your peers, managers and other members of the Sun Life actuarial community.
But it’s not all work! We offer a well-rounded summer experience, including lunch & learn sessions, networking opportunities with business leaders and members of the actuarial community and social activities with other interns from across the organization.
