In this Program Analyst (Community Liaison) position, you will work closely with FEMA staff in the field and region to leverage your local knowledge, relationships, and familiarity with impacted communities during recovery efforts.

Typical assignments include:

  • Reviewing and sharing information about FEMA programs with members of the community
  • Identifying and reporting community-specific needs for recovery
  • Supporting the community in navigating Federal programs
  • Providing education to stakeholders related to local nuances and complexities
  • Assisting FEMA personnel in accessing and convening local communities in support of recovery needs
