JOB DESCRIPTION
Miles Muse is seeking a dynamic and effective Social Media Coordinator Intern to join us for the Spring 2025 Semester. The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive traffic to our profiles, and engage our target audience. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media trends, has excellent communication skills, and can effectively manage multiple platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement social media strategies to achieve marketing goals and objectives.
- Create engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms, including Instagram and TikTok.
- Manage day-to-day activities on social media channels, including content scheduling, posting, and monitoring.
- Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and incorporate them into our social media strategy.
- Interact and engage with followers, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the Graphic Design Coordinator and Executive Producer to produce new tactics to grow the Miles Muse brand.
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates, and provide regular reports to management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing and implement new strategies to optimize our social media presence.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A passion for the music and knowledge of the current state of the music industry.
- Has completed at least one year of a Bachelor’s Degree program studying Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role, with a track record of growing social media accounts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; creative and conversational writer who is also a diligent proofreader.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Work requires excellent communication and time management skills to write and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in social media management tools, analytics, and scheduling platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles is a plus.
