We offer three positions for student staff:
Support Specialist - Help customers with the leading technology in LTE with troubleshooting problems with their LTE equipment, answer questions about the NMU LTE service, and offer internet service to the Upper Peninsula.
Equipment Specialist - Provision LTE Antennas and Routers for customer use, use satellite mapping software to measure distance and terrain for determining signal, and assisting the communities of the Upper Peninsula to get affordable internet.
Billing Specialist - Maintain customer EAN subscriptions, manage payment profiles, and help the communities in the U.P. get affordable internet.
All students begin as support specialists to learn how we interact with customers and how to use your resources to be successful members of the EAN. After your training is completed, you will have an opportunity to move into a different position (and get a pay raise!)
We are currently looking for students interested in our Equipment position, with availability during the 2024 Fall semester. Our Fall hours are Monday-Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM!
