Occupational Health Program Manager- Maryland

Responsibilities

Occupational Health Program Managers in the Office of Occupational Health & Well-Being (OHWB) support the mission by providing technical and/or administrative and/or program management/financial services in a number of fields including, but not limited to, Clinical, Case Management, Employee Assistance, Health Care Administrative, Psychological, and/or Work/Life Services. Occupational Health Program Managers at the NSA administer occupational health-related programs such as drug deterrence, blood donor, wellness, among others. Responsibilities include: - Working with customers to clarify their needs and to determine how their needs can be met. - Creating and maintaining records, forms, logs, databases, calendars, and other tracking systems in accordance with applicable regulations. - Entering data into databases, logs, files, etc. - Modifying or adapting products, services, and support to meet customer needs. - Providing timely and accurate responses to requests for assistance, information, products, or services. - Working effectively as part of a team, partnering, collaborating. - Using basic office resources, computers, and office equipment.

Job Summary

The Office of Occupational Health and Well-Being Services (OHWB) supports the mission by applying professional knowledge in Occupational Health, Environmental, Industrial Hygiene and Safety operating in accordance with all governing body regulations. OHWB personnel provide clinical services, including emergency response, evaluations, immunizations, vision and well-being services. Personnel will also provide technical, managerial, and administrative services to the workforce. Promoting, assessing and optimizing the health and safety of the NSA workforce and workplace is always a priority.

Qualifications

The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 1 year of relevant experience. Relevant experience must include administrative or clerical work.
