Nature and Scope of the Access Services Circulation Clerk Position
We are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic about community service, possesses excellent communication skills and enjoys working actively on a team. Qualifications
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service in a wide variety of formats.
- Ability to interpret library policies and procedures for the public in a customer-friendly manner.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patrons and staff.
- Ability to independently exercise judgment within established library policy.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma (or equivalent), required.
- Customer service experience, preferred.
Hours
Part-time, non-exempt position: 12 hours per week.
Sunday 1-5 p.m., Monday 5-9 p.m., Friday 2-6 p.m.
Benefits
You will be eligible to accrue Paid Leave for All Workers. Accrual of PLAW begins on the first day of employment and may be accrued up to a maximum of 40 hours. PLAW leave may be used for any reason.
Salary: $15.21/hr
