Duties will include software system design, full-stack software development, web application development, and system integration and testing for a variety of DoD systems.


 

BESL is seeking a qualified Software Engineer with duties in Colorado Springs, CO which requires the ability to achieve and maintain an active Security Clearance. Duties will include software system design, full-stack software development, web application development, and system integration and testing for a variety of DoD systems. 


 

Qualified candidates will be able to utilize DevSecOps pipelines to perform continuous integration and deployment of software applications in an Agile development lifecycle and should be familiar with full-stack software development, including user-interface development, database management, mathematical and scientific modeling, and algorithm development.

Requirements

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related STEM degree
  • Programming languages including Java, Angular, SQL, Python
  • Git, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Linux, especially Red Hat
  • Digital signal processing
  • Scientific modeling and algorithm development

Preferred Skills:

  • Programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Fortran, C, C++
  • Systems engineering
  • Information Technology/ Cybersecurity
  • Machine Learning/ Artificial Intelligence
  • FPGA programming
