Camp Counselor

A camp counselor at Camp IdRaHaJe works with campers ages 6-17 each week. They are responsible for 6-10 campers a week while they are at camp. During the week, some specific responsibilities include: eating meals with your cabin, running cabin devotions, attending chapel, playing games, leading skills classes, and many other activities alongside the campers.  Minimum requirements for being a camp counselor include: ability to share the Gospel with campers, work alongside children, have a teachable attitude, and possess a love for working in the great outdoors. Being a counselor at Camp IdRaHaJe is great for all majors, but specifically for those looking to work with children and youth upon graduation. Located in Bailey, CO, you must to be able to live/work at elevations between 8,700-9,500 feet on mountainous terrain. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is wanting to spend their summer in the mountains, serving the Lord, and teaching campers about Christ.
