Job Captain
Our team is currently looking for an experienced Job Captain. The Job Captain is responsible to establish design direction for projects, coordinating the efforts of all members of the project team focusing on design aspects. Provide specific direction to the design support staff including Designers, Interior designers, or other internal and external design resources.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Working with a design team from project inception through all phases of the project
- Design coordination of the team and project through construction phase
- Working closely with the Project Manager and team to coordinate the work effort amongst all internal and external team members
- Communicating and integrating design work efforts with the internal project team and external consultants
- Delivering overall design quality consistent with scope, budget and project goals
- Actively building new and future relationships
- Leading the culture of design within the firm
What RSP is Looking For:
- Demonstrated talent in architectural design
- Experience working with other Designers
- Ability to both multi-task and be organized
- A practiced communicator and presenter, able to articulate ideas
- Strong client interface skills
- A diverse portfolio including corporate, hospitality or higher education project experience
- Detail-oriented with a strategic, big-picture perspective
- Effective team experience working with multiple team members
- Commitment to team success
