Senior Policy Manager
About this Position
Colorado Community Health Network (CCHN) is seeking a Senior Policy Manager to join its Policy Division. The Senior Policy Manager will lead initiatives to accomplish CCHN’s public affairs priorities, including advocating for CHCs and advancing priority bills during the state legislative session, ensuring CCHN and Community Health Centers (CHCs) have strong relationships with Colorado’s Congressional Delegation to advance federal legislation that supports CHCs, and monitoring and influencing other state or federal regulatory and administrative policy issues as they arise for CHCs and are prioritized through the CCHN Public Affairs committee. This position reports to the Policy Director, is expected to collaborate on division strategy and management, and co-lead the CCHN Public Affairs Committee of the Board.
You may be a good fit for this position if you have several years of experience working at the state level analyzing and advocating for health policy issues that increase access to health coverage and care, and have experience recommending and implementing strategy to accomplish priority policy goals. Experience working with federal legislators, and working with committees and meeting facilitation, will also be useful in this position.
About CCHN
CCHN is the membership association of Colorado’s 20 CHCs which serve their communities by offering integrated primary, behavioral, and oral health care at over 240 clinic sites in underserved communities. CCHN is a dynamic and team-orientated non-profit of approximately 26 employees. In addition to offering technical assistance to CHCs on many topics, CCHN’s Policy Division is responsible for advocating CHCs’ policy priorities to state agencies, and state and federal lawmakers.
